"Where little hearts meet God and little minds learn to wonder."Welcome to St. Mary's Visitation Pre-Kindergarten. We are fully licensed by the state of Michigan, and offer a full range of learning opportunities for our families to meet the needs of our students.
Our preschool students are a vital part of our school community. They actively engage in a variety of school activities, such as Mass, liturgical celebrations, holiday parties, and pairing with older students as buddies, among many others. We focus on nurturing the theological, academic, and social development of each child, aiming to foster their growth in every aspect of their early learning journey.

Early Learners & Pre-Kindergarten
- For students 3 to 4 years old and toilet trained.
- Early Learners (3 year olds) concentrate on fine motor skills, numbers, colors, shapes, and letters.
- Pre-Kindergarten (those 4 by Dec. 1) students continue to develop their fine motor skills, early literacy and numeracy, and the foundational abilities necessary for success in Kindergarten.
- Learn basic prayers and participate in Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, liturgical celebrations, and Mass.
- Engage in the program Drawing Children into Reading (dcir.org).
- Schedule includes structured play, academic time, choice time, outdoor exploration, individual and small group skill reinforcement, and rest time (adjusted for individual needs).
- Learn to work and play with others and peacefully resolve conflict within the context of our faith.
- Early Learners (3 year olds) may attend 2 - 5 full or half days.
- Pre-Kindergarten students may attend 3 - 5 full or half days, but are strongly encouraged to attend full days the second half of the year.

Tuition: Early Learners and Pre-Kindergarten
**Monthly amounts are divided into 12 equal payments, August to July.
2 half days: $1134/yr. $94.50/mo.
3 half days: $1701/yr. $141.75/mo.
4 half days: $2268/yr. $189/mo.
5 half days: $2835/yr. $236.25/mo.
* Preschool Discount: Additional preschool students each receive a 20% discount.
2 full days: $2268/yr. $189/mo.
3 full days: $3402/yr. $283.50/mo.
4 full days: $4536/yr. $378/mo.
5 full days: $5670/yr. $472.50/mo.

Other Information
All Pre-Kindergarten/Early Learners students wear uniforms-see the dress code for information.
All Pre-Kindergarten/Early Learners students will have the opportunity for snack time and families may purchase hot lunch for full day students.
A full day runs from 7:30 AM to 3 PM (morning drop-off begins at 7:10 AM).
A half day runs from 7:30 AM to 11:15 AM.
- Pre-Kindergarten/Early Learners follow the same school year calendar as the rest of the school.
